Record year to celebrate anniversary: Europa-Park breaks the 7 million visitor mark
The Europa-Park Resort has achieved a new record in its 2025 anniversary year. Fifty years after opening, Germany's largest theme park exceeded the seven million visitor mark for the first time. The record number underscores the strong demand, consolidates its position as a leading tourist destination in Germany and puts it well ahead of Cologne Cathedral and the Oktoberfest, both of which can be visited free of charge.

Europa-Park named the world’s best theme park for the tenth time
On 6 September 2025, Europa-Park received the industry’s highest accolade, the ‘Golden Ticket Award’ for ‘Best Theme Park Worldwide’ for the tenth time. In its anniversary year, the family-owned company from Baden in Germany once again beat renowned competitors such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.

Ann-Kathrin Mack to become Managing Partner of Europa-Park
Ann-Kathrin Mack, daughter of Marianne and Roland Mack, has been appointed as an additional Managing Partner of Europa-Park. The 35-year-old architect, who has held a leading position in the company for nine years, is already responsible for the Mack Solutions/Construction Management division. In her new role as Managing Partner, she will additionally take on responsibility for the Marketing, Sales & Digital division.

Interactive 3D family adventure opens at Europa-Park
Just in time for the start of the season, the interactive 3D dark ride GRAND PRIX EDventure brings exciting gameplay fun to a new level. In the 50-year anniversary season, Ed & Edda receive the first attraction of their own at Europa-Park, leading riders right into the world of the new animated feature film GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE.

Roland Mack and Michael Mack accorded with the highest honours
On 28. January 2025 at the Élysée Palace, French President Emmanuel Macron named Europa-Park founder Roland Mack ‘Officer de la Légion d’Honneur’ and Michael Mack, Managing Partner of Europa-Park and CEO of MACK One, ‘Knight de la Légion d’Honneur’. Only very few Germans have achieved this honour as yet. The Legion of Honour is the highest French honour.

A brand new, action-packed rollercoaster awaits all visitors to the new Croatian themed area of Europa-Park with ‘Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac’. The innovative multi launch coaster from MACK Rides offers an incomparable combination of thrill, atmosphere and technology and sets new standards: Europa-Park's 14th rollercoaster features four periods of catapult-like acceleration up to 100 kilometres per hour, one of which backwards.
