The world-famous International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo has teamed up with Europa-Park
The show will be presented in an even larger circus tent than before, with an LED floor and a newly designed circus portal. The line-up includes Just Two Men, who are known for their impressive aerial straps performance at the Monte-Carlo Circus Festival, dog trainer Wolfgang Lauenburger, and the Bingo Troupe, who will present a spectacular opening. There will also be a performance by the versatile comedian and singer Cesar Dias. The Mustache Brothers will also be there to delight audiences with their cheeky comedy in classic circus style, while the Demian Troupe will wow them with their breathtaking acrobatics. Both acts will also be appearing at the Monte-Carlo Circus Festival in the coming years. Charming presenter Wolf Fisher will host the programme.
Urs Pilz, President of the Monte-Carlo Festival: “It is a fantastic circus show. Many of the performers are world-class artists. The festival was founded in 1974 by Prince Rainier III, whose goal was to give artists a stage that did justice to their art – in the glamorous setting of Monte Carlo.”
This idea became a global event. Today, the Golden Clown, the festival’s highest accolade, is considered the Oscar of the circus world. Those who receive it are part of circus history. To this day, the royal family of Monaco continues to wholeheartedly support the festival. Princess Stéphanie continues her father’s work. She is a patroness and regularly sits in the front row – as close to the ring as the audience itself.
The Grimaldi family has deep and personal ties to the circus. And the fact that Europa-Park is now a partner of this legendary festival is also thanks to Roland
Mack. In January 2025, the Europa-Park founder was named “Ambassadeur du Cirque” by the Fédération Mondiale du Cirque – a title that is only bestowed upon a select few individuals worldwide. It recognises exceptional commitment to the art of the circus. Urs Pilz: “For the Mack family, the circus has always been more than just entertainment; it is an emotional cultural form. Whether it’s opulent dinner shows, open-air events or performances on the park’s stages, the circus lives on at Europa-Park. Through their in-house TALENT ACADEMY, the Mack family also support young artists, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents. The circus lives on at Europa-Park.”
