Santa Isabel e. V. – helping children and families with much heart

Heart and energy for children and families

Since 2008, the Santa Isabel e. V. charity, founded by Marianne Mack, has been working tirelessly to help children and families who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own. Whether it is serious illness, financial hardship or misfortune, the foundation is there to help quickly and unbureaucratically.

The association raises funds for people in need through creative charity events such as the 'New Perspectives' lecture series and the annual charity flea market. Marianne Mack is particularly keen to support Katharinenhöhe, a family-orientated cancer rehabilitation clinic in the Black Forest, which she has supported continuously for over twelve years.

I founded the charity Santa Isabel e. V. in order to provide even better support for children in need and their families.

A special initiative

The roots of Santa Isabel e. V. lie in a special initiative: In 2005, Marianne Mack launched the 'New Perspectives' lecture series, in which renowned speakers discuss topics that help people find new paths in life. The positive feedback and the growing number of donations led to the official foundation of the association in 2008.

Since then, Santa Isabel e. V. has worked to ensure that children and families in acute emergencies receive not only financial but also emotional support. The association has regional roots, but its projects have an impact far beyond.

Helping together, giving hope

Since its launch, Santa Isabel e. V. has opened up new prospects for countless families. Donations go directly to projects that make a lasting difference to the lives of children and families. Whether by providing immediate financial or emotional support, or by funding institutions such as Katharinenhöhe, the association is an important source of support for people in difficult circumstances. The association focuses on targeted support in acute emergencies and is particularly committed to seriously ill children and their families.

Marianne Mack

Marianne Mack is not only a central figure in the Mack family, but also a dedicated philanthropist with a strong sense of social responsibility. As the wife of Roland Mack, she has helped to shape the family business from the very beginning and has always worked for the benefit of others. With the foundation of Santa Isabel e. V., she has created a platform that provides targeted help where it is most needed. Her motto: "We can't achieve great things - only small things, but with great love". This credo guides her actions and continues to inspire many people to get involved in charitable causes. In 2010, she was awarded the Order of Merit for her extraordinary social commitment.

Volunteer lecture series ‘New Perspectives’

Launched by Marianne Mack in 2005, the lecture series ‘New Perspectives’ is one of the association's most important fundraising formats. Volunteer speakers share inspiring stories and words of wisdom to give people food for thought. Admission is by donation, generating valuable funds for a good cause each year.

A tradition: the charity flea market.

Another highlight is the annual charity flea market held at the Europa-Park garden centre. Every year, thousands of visitors come to browse for bargains for a good cause, with items ranging from antique finds and handmade artwork to fashionable accessories. Over a period of months, volunteers dedicate their time and energy to collecting donations, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to social projects. What began as a small initiative has developed into a popular charity event at the Europa-Park Resort over the years.
