As Director of Marketing & Communications, Nicolas Mack oversees all activities relating to brand image, sales and communications for the Europa‑Park Resort. Keeping a close eye on guest demographics, he ensures that campaigns, partnerships and sales projects are implemented efficiently, and that the brand messages of the family‑owned company are communicated consistently.

Before this, he spent many years heading up the Co‑operation and Sponsorship department, where he established a robust network of brand partners that has become an integral component of the Europa‑Park experience. He is now applying this expertise to the management of the division, overseeing everything from existing partnerships to marketing initiatives and developing targeted communication and sales activities.

He is characterised by his reliability, awareness of quality and deep understanding of the guest experience. Nicolas Mack and his team ensure that the Europa‑Park brand is presented in an authentic and effective manner to the outside world.

Visions & values - partnerships as a factor for success

Nicolas Mack has been closely associated with the MACK Group for many years, contributing his expertise in a targeted manner. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Political and Administrative Sciences, he went on to earn a Master's degree in Management. This combination of political insight and business management know-how informs his comprehensive perspective on corporate governance and strategic development within the group.

Since joining the family business in 2018, he has strengthened and strategically realigned collaborations with national and international partners. His analytical approach and keen sense of brand positioning enable him to forge valuable partnerships that enhance the guest experience and promote the company's economic growth.
 

Nicolas Mack is deeply involved in the family business and forms a strong team with his wife, Ann-Kathrin. While she drives the architecture and design strategy as Managing Director and is responsible for the Marketing & Communications division, he oversees operations in this area. Their collaboration embodies the interplay between creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, with the shared goal of developing the MACK Group for the future.

Nicolas Mack's forward-looking brand strategy combines innovation with the MACK Group's tradition, focusing on long-term growth. He believes that striking the right balance between progress and proven values is the key to success.

Nicolas Mack is responsible for the strategic development of Europa-Park Resort and the MACK Group.

His responsibilities include:

  • Strategic partnerships with leading brands from the automotive, technology, entertainment and lifestyle sectors
  • An experience-oriented brand strategy that makes innovative collaborations visible and integrates them seamlessly and creatively into the visitor experience to surprise and delight guests.
  • Digital communication to create new opportunities for brand interaction with guests, providing inspiring touchpoints that inform, engage and emotionally connect with guests, creating memories.

His work makes a decisive contribution to securing the future of the family-owned company. A significant career milestone was acquiring the naming rights for the Europa-Park Stadion, SC Freiburg's new home ground.

His personal passion for football is evident in his commitment. He has played a key role in this process, from contract negotiations to strategic support, thereby positioning the Europa-Park brand prominently outside the leisure industry.
