Silver Lake City at Europa-Park Resort

June 18, 2026

Just a stone’s throw away from Germany’s largest theme park lies a world where crackling campfires and the smell of barbecues fill the air and beautifully designed, Western-style wooden façades form the backdrop. Silver Lake City at Europa-Park combines nature-oriented accommodation with an authentic Western charm and a wide range of leisure activities. With a lake, a nature reserve and a detailed Western town, it offers a year-round holiday experience for families, groups and outdoor enthusiasts.

Riverside Western Lodge
Since June 2026, the Riverside Western Lodge has increased its accommodation offering to include 119 rooms and a total of 532 beds, providing additional comfort in an American Western style. From the moment they step inside, guests are immersed in the meticulously designed Western atmosphere. Wooden facades, warm colours and tasteful decor create an authentic ambience that reflects Silver Lake City's character while offering new levels of comfort.

Tipi Town, caravanning & camping
Whether in a tipi tent, a covered wagon or a Western House – every night is a little adventure in Silver Lake City. There are a total of 25 tipi tents sleeping four, six or twelve people, where you can immerse yourself in the world of the Wild West. Authentic covered wagons sleeping four offer a wildly romantic temporary home. Six rustic log cabins with a total of 26 rooms provide spacious accommodation for four, six, twelve or up to sixteen people, while the honeymoon suite is the perfect setting for romantic moments in a Western-themed ambience. To complete the range of accommodation, there are 36 authentic Western Houses with their own bathrooms. Sleeping up to six people, the rustic façades and charming details bring the authentic charm of the 19th century to life.
Silver Lake City is also an ideal destination for camping enthusiasts. Tent pitches offer the chance to enjoy an overnight stay under the stars. In addition, there are a total of 219 pitches for caravans with water and electricity connections, designed for vehicles of various different sizes. New sanitary facilities in the caravanning area provide additional comfort.

Feasting like in the Wild West
The culinary centrepiece of the Western town is the atmospheric Diner Station, designed to resemble a historic railway station. Authentic train carriages with seating inside give the buffet restaurant its distinctive character. Guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet in the morning to start the day off right. And in the evening, the varied dinner buffet serves up hearty classics, American cuisine, fresh salads, succulent meat dishes, and sweet desserts. The indoor area can seat a total of 275 guests, while spacious outdoor terraces with around 200 seats are perfect for relaxing in the open air.
Guests can end the day in a relaxed atmosphere at the Wild Horse Bar, with its rustic saloon ambience. With seating for 120, it serves freshly tapped beer, creative cocktails and selected spirits. And for those looking for that authentic campfire feeling, the fire pits in the Western town are sure to provide an atmospheric meeting place.

Guests who don’t want to grill their own food over the campfire can enjoy hearty Texas burgers, steaks and spare ribs at the Silver Lake Saloon, which seats 210. Behind the wooden façade lies a large hall with a bar, a stage for all kinds of performances and an array of seating options. Round tables and small seating alcoves offer space for 140 gunslingers, leaving plenty of room for tales of adventure in good company. There are a further 70 seats in the gallery on the upper floor. For those who want to gaze over Silver Lake City while recounting their tales, the terrace by the lake is the best place to sit. Visitors can also make use of the 80-seat self-service Cantina Amigo restaurant for group events. At 'Grandpa Will's Hot Dogs', guests can look forward to delicious hot dogs, and at 'Cold Rush Western Ice Creams', to refreshing ice cream. A new shopping area completes the offering.

Silver Lake Brewery
The Silver Lake Brewery enriches the Western town with its delicious 'Silver Lake Brew', a naturally cloudy beer. Visitors can experience the art of craft brewing first-hand in a tasting room overlooking the brewery.

Where gold rush thrills meet rodeo action
Gold Rush Golf is a mini golf course with a charming desert theme and twelve holes, perfect for gold prospectors of all ages. Set amid cacti and Western scenery, each round is a real family adventure. Younger visitors will be delighted by the extraordinary locomotive-shaped adventure playground, while the bull riding experience offers a real taste of the rodeo. Walking acts, artists and musicians round off the diverse entertainment programme. A new YULLBE GO venue is bringing state-of-the-art virtual reality technology to Silver Lake City, expanding the range of leisure activities on offer by providing interactive experiences. Another addition to the expanded offering is the ‘Wild West Store’. This 24/7 shop provides guests with a convenient place to visit at any time of day or night.

Children’s House Little Heroes
In July 2026, the Europa-Park Children’s House Little Heroes will open. This is a special project close to our hearts which is being organised in cooperation with the RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e.V. (RTL – We help children) foundation, the Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung (German Children’s Cancer Foundation) in Bonn, and the non-profit association Stelzenmännchen in Karlsruhe. Five spacious apartments will enable families with children who have survived cancer to enjoy a free holiday in a Western-themed setting. From the many attractions and offerings at Europa-Park itself to the Rulantica water world and excursions to the Taubergießen nature reserve, or a visit to the Europa-Park TALENT ACADEMY or YULLBE, the region offers countless ways to rediscover life’s joys. Miriam Mack is the ambassador for this project, while Swiss musician DJ BoBo is the patron. Retired Europa-Park employees will look after the families on a voluntary basis.

From campsite to Western town
What started as a caravan and campsite in the immediate vicinity of Europa-Park in 1998 has steadily developed over the years. With Tipi Tents, Covered Wagons, Log Cabins, Western Houses, dining options and leisure activities, the former Camp Resort gradually evolved into a self-contained Western-style resort. Today, Silver Lake City offers a fully immersive holiday experience at the Europa-Park Resort, providing accommodation close to nature with authentic Western flair and modern facilities for all the family.
