Events and Highlights 2025
Just in time for the start of the season, the interactive 3D dark ride GRAND PRIX EDventure brings exciting gameplay fun to a new level. In the 50-year anniversary season, Ed & Edda receive the first attraction of their own at Europa-Park, leading riders right into the world of the new animated feature film GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE.
In 2025, there are all kinds of experience and enjoyment to be had for the Golden Jubilee of Europa-Park. Below, you find a list of events from the start of the season until the end of the year. All year round: Rulantica Vibes
Rulantica visitors can, on a variety of dates throughout the year, enjoy a relaxing evening in front of the spectacular backdrop of the outdoor slide world ‘Svalgurok’. Rulantica Vibes are ideal for everybody yearning for an evening with relaxing beats and cool drinks. The event is included in your ticket for Rulantica.
All year round: Country Brunch & Krønasår Sunday Brunch
On selected Sundays, the Silver Lake Saloon invites you to their delightful Country Brunch between 11:30 and 15:00. Parallel to this, the Bubba Svens restaurant at hotel ‘Krønasår’ will be offering a relaxed Sunday brunch between 11:00 and 14:00.
All year round: Alemannic Knights’ Banquet
A journey together into the 15th Century: Castle Balthasar, built in 1442, awaits guests within its walls for an authentic four-course feast. You get to experience an original knights’ banquet, presented by the Lord of the Castle, served in medieval costume, surrounded by minstrels and jugglers.
15. March: Europa-Park Pre-Opening
To kick the extraordinary jubilee season off, Germany’s largest theme park opens its doors for an exclusive pre-opening. One week before the official start of season on 22. March, guests get to experience the first magic moments and get in the mood for an unforgettable jubilee.
22. March: Start of the summer season
In 2025, not only does Germany’s largest theme park celebrate its 50th anniversary, but also half a century of experiences and emotions together. On 22. March, Europa-Park is starting its magical summer season. For its 50th birthday, a year full of highlights with the best highlights awaits guests. Alongside a new parade with impressive floats and dancers in joyously colourful costumes, the Golden Jubilee offer spectacular performances with the Europa-Park Artistes. Tying in with the jubilee film ‘GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE’, the new ‘GRAND PRIX Edventure’ family attraction also awaits visitors.
29. – 30. March: Dutch Festival
On this weekend, the Dutch theme area stays in the centre and celebrates Dutch traditions and landmarks. Visitors will again find themselves in a paradise full of tulips and, of course, fantastic food.
04. April: Radio Regenbogen Award
World stars, red carpet and a glamorous awards ceremony with culinary highlights – all this is on offer at the Radio Regenbogen Award at the Europa-Park Arena. The awards ceremony will be presented by comedy star Mirja Boes, with awards presented by Nico Santos, Michael ‘Bully’ Herbig, Barbara Schöneberger and Wolfgang Niedecken, amongst others. 05. – 06. April: English Festival
Between Union Jacks, the cult red double-decker buses and a real ‘tea party’ atmosphere, guests can once again discover the English theme area.
18. – 21. April: Snorri’s Easter Action at Rulantica
All Easter lovers, big and small, can enjoy all kinds of action and fun in the water world. A fun Easter egg hunt invites you to join in.
18. – 21. April: Castle festival, incl. Easter Village
The historical castle park in front of Castle Balthasar again opens for the Castle Festival. The magical Easter Village invites you to experience spring joy and Easter traditions close up. Young guests can get creative through taking part in exciting activities, go on Easter egg hunts and play traditional games. A festival full of fun, magic and unforgettable family moments.
19. – 20. April: HorrorCon Germany 2025
On 19. - 20. April 2025, HorrorCon Germany will go into its next round at the Confertainment Center at Europa-Park. With a new, extraordinary location, more exhibitors, new ticket categories and even more horror, guests get to experience a unique event.
20. – 21. April: Easter Brunches at Europa-Park Hotels and Silver Lake City
At Easter, guests at the Antica Roma and Harborside restaurants, as well as Silver Lake Saloon, get to enjoy a tasty holiday brunch.
01. May: Maihock in the Bavarian-Baden Beer Garden
The Bavarian-Baden Beer Garden is the place to celebrate heartily in the Bavarian style. Culinary highlights and animations with the Europa-Park Artistes are not to be missed here
01. – 03. May: Balloon Festival
More than 20 hot air balloons will conquer the skies over Germany’s largest theme park. From around 800 metres up, guests can explore Europa-Park from a bird’s perspective and, at the same time, receive a spectacular view of the Black Forest over the Upper Rhine Plain up to the Vosges. Even Europa-Park is on the starting line with its own balloon.
05. May – 25. May: All the Asparagus
Asparagus season is the tastiest time of year. Its culinary facets range from the refined to the classic. On Sundays, guests at the hotel ‘Colosseo’ get to enjoy a different menu: starters and desserts are served and the main course is available on the buffet. As much asparagus as one’s heart desires.
09. May: Europe Day
Europa-Park is under the sign of Europe. Germany’s largest theme park celebrates the founding of the European Union with great additional activities and decoration on the theme of Europe.
10. - 11. May: Italian Festival
‘Bella Italia!’ is the name of the game this weekend as, during the Italian Festival, the oldest European theme area is in the foreground. Guests get to know the traditions and culture of Italy.
11. May: Mother’s Day Brunch at Europa-Park Hotels and Silver Lake Saloon
Guests get to enjoy special delicacies at the Mother’s Day brunch. The perfect opportunity to say “Thank you, Mum”.
17. May: The Partyschlager Sensation 2025 – 50 Years of Europa-Park
Mallorca Summer Festival ® – The Original
Guests get to experience pure festival madness, the best live acts of the Partyschlager scene and thousands of party-mad Majorca fans.
23. – 24. May: Eatrenalin Chef’s Special
Guests enjoy a culinary journey with Head Chef Alexander Mayer. The innovative eight-course menu is enriched by regional May highlights.
24. – 25. May: Fairy Tale Festival
All little princesses and princes beware! Surrounded by Cinderella, the Frog Prince, Old Mother Frost and all the other beloved fairy tale characters, great interactive offerings await young guests in Grimm’s Fairy Tale forest
29. May – 01. June: Spring Time at Rulantica
Special shows await all the family in the Rulantica water world at the Frigg Temple, as well as entertaining animations with artists from Europa-Park.
30. May – 01. June: Croatian Festival
In the Croatia-themed festival, the 17th European theme area is right at the centre of Europa-Park. With traditional dancing, customs and dishes typical of the country, the variety of Croatia will be celebrated.
05. June: Jubilee Service
On the 50th birthday of Europa-Park and its own 20th anniversary, the Church at Europa-Park is holding a service on the Piazza Colosseo with Archbishop Stephan Burger and Bishop Heike Spinghart, Head of the Evangelical Church in Baden.
06. – 09., 13. – 15., 19. – 22. June: Midsommar Havn-Fest
In June, the traditional Midsommar Havn-Fest is here again! Around the hotel ‘Krønasår’s stunning lake, the Scandinavian lifestyle and culinary highlights enchant all guests. Cosy, hearty atmosphere with great entertainment included!
07. – 09. June: Austrian Festival
Austria can be so much more than Kaiserschmarrn and Wiener Schnitzels! Guests get to enjoy tasty delicacies, Alpine scenery and a rustic hut atmosphere from our neighbour country in the Alps. Gorgeous costumes, craft typical of the country and traditional folk music also await you.
07. – 09. June: Pentecost at Rulantica
During the long weekend of Pentecost, Snorri invites visitors young and old to even more entertainment at Rulantica. Alongside water fun on over 50 slides and attractions, great specials and live entertainment await the whole family around the water carousel Tønnevirvel.
From 15. June: Immer wieder sonntags
Stefan Mross presents the popular live programme on Das Erste. Visitors get to experience folk music and Schlager stars up close at Europa-Park adventure resort, directly opposite the Rulantica water world! On various dates until the autumn, viewers can be there live when the entertainer is welcoming his well-known guests. Dates are available on europapark.de/en/events/immer-wieder-sonntags.
25. June: Euro Musique Festival
Boundless enthusiasm and international connection! In cooperation with the State Music Youth and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, the Euro Musique Festival welcomes thousands of school pupils from France, Germany and Switzerland on this day to make music together.
28. – 29. June: Greek Festival
At the first Greek Festival at Europa-Park, guests find themselves in a paradise full of white limestone buildings, Mediterranean flair and turquoise waters. They get to experience the magic of Greece through typical traditions and delicacies.
02. – 06. July: Crazy Summer with Ross Antony and Paul Reeves
Together with his husband Paul Reeves, Ross Antony has filled audiences with enthusiasm for years with his ‘Crazy Christmas’ winter show. Tying in with the Jubilee, ‘Crazy Summer’ will also be celebrated this year.
12. July: Jubilee event, incl. Summer Night Party
50 years of Europa-Park! Germany’s largest theme park is celebrating a unique jubilee summer night party with all its guests until midnight with great surprises and activities.
14. July: French Festival
Vive la France! In July, a piece of France awaits in the centre of Europa-Park. Visitors get to experience numerous special culinary and craft activities in the French theme area
25. July – 31. August: South Africa Weeks
Guests get to enjoy the variety of South Africa every Wednesday to Sunday! At the ‘Spices – Cuisines of the World’ restaurant, South African head chef Anita Roux presents the varied cuisine of her continent.
29. Juli: hansgrohe Children’s Festival
On the occasion of Europa-Park’s 50th birthday, hansgrohe invites visitors young and old to join in on thrilling activities and exciting play stations around Lítill Island – the hansgrohe children’s water world in the Icelandic theme area.
01. – 03. August: Swiss Festival
All visitors get to experience the traditional highlights from the country of mountains and exciting activities around the authentic Valais Village.
08. – 09., 15. – 16. August: Rulantica Summer Night Parties
At the Rulantica Summer Night Parties, an extra portion of summery water fan is on the cards because the water world will be staying open until midnight over these weekends. Alongside over 14 hours of slide action and water fun and great specials, a spectacular highlight of the programme is in the evening.
13. – 17. August: World of Dance Camp Europe
Dancers from all over Europe take part in the popular summer dance camp and learn in different workshops from over 30 international coaches.
16. – 22. August: Broadway Dreams Camp and Show
During the intensive Musical Theatre course, rising stars trains with well-known Broadway coaches. At the end of the week, the newcomers will present a top-class performance with the show’s stars.
23. August: Summer Night Party until Midnight with JUNIOR CLUB Birthday
The Europa-Park JUNIOR CLUB is celebrating its 10th birthday: Alongside boundless ride fun until midnight, amazing live music and additional evening shows, numerous specials and special activities awaits smaller guests in particular.
06. – 07. September: Dallmayr Family Days
During the Dallmayr Family Days, a fantastic tea and coffee through Europa-Park await with a lot of taste and fun for young and old!
12. September – 11. October: Octoberfest
O’zapft is! In a convivial atmosphere is something to be celebrated at the Europa-Park Arena with delicious Hofbräu Octoberfest beer and hearty delicacies.
13. – 14. September: Spanish Festival
On this weekend, the Spanish theme area transforms into a living stage full of the Spanish joy of living. Guests get to enjoy fiery flamenco shows, traditional music and authentic Spanish delicacies, which bring them right into sunny Spain.
19. – 28. September: Scandinavian Sauna Week at Rulantica
During the Scandinavian Sauna Week at Hyggedal, the focus is on the art of sweating enjoyably. Themed infusions, soothing peels and facials make for a particularly pleasant experience.
21. September: Alsace Day
On this day, everything is dedicated to Alsace tradition and the links between Europa-Park and the neighbouring region.
24. September – 08. November: Traumatica
Traumatica, Europa-Park’s award-winning horror spectacle, takes care of fear and fright in 2025 as well. Information and tickets can be found here: www.traumatica.com
27. September – 02. November: Halloween season
There are spooks to be had again in Germany’s largest theme park: rattling skeletons, eerie figures and demonic ghosts will be causing mayhem. The autumn landscape, full of secrets, will cast its spell over horror fans young and old. Numerous attractions, such as the parade, show programme and fine dining, are dedicated to this beautifully scary time of year.
03. October: Day of German Unity
With a Trabant parade, amongst other things, Europa-Park is all about German unity.
04. – 05. October: German Festival
At the German Festival, amazing specials on the theme of Germany await. Visitors get to discover traditions typical of the country and experience German culture.
08. October: World Octopus Day
Sixtopus Snorri, together with Rulantica’s youngest visitors, celebrates World Octopus Day.
11. – 12. October: Charity Flea Market
The flea market for a good cause is again taking place in Europa-Park’s market garden. The proceeds benefit, through the Marianne Mack Friends’ Association, ‘Santa Isabel e.V.’, people finding themselves, through no fault of their own, in a difficult life situation.
11. – 12. October: Irish Festival
Guests gets to experience tap dancing whilst bagpipes, fiddles and Irish folk music make for a festive atmosphere. In a traditional Celtic pub atmosphere, they can also get a taste of cool Guinness or a strengthening Irish coffee and soak up all the magic of Ireland.
23. – 25. October: Science Days
A gigantic world of experiments and experiences await children and young people at the Europa-Park Confertainment Center. Numerous offerings surrounding science and technology promise exciting experiences.
24. October, 08. and 29. November, 06. and 12. December, 05. and 10. January: Malam Indonesia
The artistic and culinary experience evening at the Bamboe Baai restaurant whisks guests away with a 4-course menu into the world of Pirates in Batavia, allowing them to experience an adventurous journey together.
31. October: SWR3 Halloween-Party
Germany’s largest Halloween party – Guests get to experience a scarily great night with groovy live music, first-class DJs, delicious snacks and refreshing drinks.
November 2024 – February 2025: Europa-Park Dinner Show
A glamorous evening with world-class shows and a 4-course gala created by twice Michelin-starred chef Peter Hagen-Wiest. Guests get to experience unforgettable hours of music, dance and acrobatics, as well as delicious culinary delights.
03. – 28. November: HALLOWinter at Europa-Park
Between Halloween and the winter season, Europa-Park is getting wild! HALLOWinter offers the perfect mix of the beautiful time for scares with magical winter weeks. For the occasion of Europa-Park’s Golden Jubilee, all six hotels at this time will be constantly open for the first time.
11. November: St. Martin’s Day
Tying in with St. Martin’s Day, Europa-Park invites all its little guests to craft lanterns and to walk in the Europa-Park parade.
15. November: Immersive Art Experience - Art exhibition
Immersive art - where the boundaries between reality and fantasy disappear and art tells its own story. For this occasion, the TALENT ACADEMY building will once again be transformed into a living gallery.
19. – 23. November: Crazy Christmas
Also in 2025, Ross Antony and Paul Reeves are coming back to the Globe Theater at Europa-Park. All visitors can get to experience them both with many a joke and much charm, as well as their most beloved Christmas hits live.
28. November: Happy Birthday Rulantica
The entire water world, with its guests, will be celebrating its 6th birthday.
29. November – 18. January: Winter Magic at Europa-Park
Thick snowflakes fly through the air and the fine scent of cookies rises. Decorated for winter, Europa-Park becomes quite a different experience at this cold time of year. Fir trees from the area line the paths with glistening Christmas baubles. The Christmas market, with its fragrant mulled wine and roasted almonds, invite you to stay a while. Fairy-tale 3D projections and a number of cosy campfires make for magic moments during the winter season.
01. – 23. December: Rulantica Advent Calendar
Snorri and the northern Winter Fairy invite all the water world’s little guests to open a door on the Advent calendar together on Skip Strand. At the end, all the little helpers wait for a tasty surprise.
26. December: Christmas Brunch at Europa-Park Hotels and in Silver Lake Saloon
On the 2nd day of Christmas, guests get to enjoy a lavish Christmas brunch together with the whole family.
26. December: Golden Harps Benefit Concert
This year, the traditional Golden Harps benefit concert is also taking place at Europa-Park. The choir and band present a mix of traditional and modern gospel tunes.
31. December: New Year’s Eve Galas
Europa-Park bids farewell to the year 2025: An inspiring atmosphere, dreamy locations and culinary parts are part of an entire series of fantastic New Year’s Eve events at Europa-Park.
15. – 17. January 2026: World premiere of the new DJ BoBo Arena Tour
A big stage show is guaranteed at the DJ Bobo world premiere shows! The ‘King of Dance’ has announced a huge arena tour for 2026. In it, of course, are numerous DJ BoBo hits, as well as new songs, breathtaking costumes and state-of-the-art visual show effects.
