The Winter Season to celebrate the Anniversary Year

From 29 November 2025 to 18 January 2026 (except 24/25 December), Germany’s largest theme park will once again be transformed into a magical winter wonderland, with thick snowflakes and the delicious scent of Christmas cookies filling the air. The park will be decorated with 3,500 snow-covered fir trees from the region, glittering Christmas baubles, cosy campfires and winter decorations adorning the paths of the 17 European-themed areas to enchant visitors. Christmas shows promise impressive and atmospheric entertainment for young and old alike. The new Winterland themed area adds further highlights to the sparkling celebrations in this anniversary season.

The year-round water park Rulantica will Open all year round, Rulantica water world offers an action-packed day out for the whole family with numerous water attractions. If you want to surprise your loved ones with an exclusive experience for all senses this Christmas, don't miss out on a visit to the innovative Eatrenalin restaurant. With an overnight stay in one of the park's six 4* (superior) hotels or in Silver Lake City, winter fans can round off their short break in style.


Winter fun with over 100 attractions and shows

As soon as they enter Europa-Park, visitors will be enchanted by the romantic atmosphere on German Allee, complete with a magnificently decorated Christmas tree and festive music. In the Portugal-themed area, they can enjoy views of Europa-Park decorated for winter while relaxing in heated gondolas at a height of 55 metres on the impressive Bellevue Ferris wheel. More than 3,500 snow-covered fir trees, sparkling lights and wintery decorations ensure a unique atmosphere. Adrenaline junkies can look forward to an exhilarating ride on the new Voltron Nevera rollercoaster powered by Rimac in the Croatia-themed area, with a total of 7 over-head elements and top speed of 100kp/h. And guests can embark on an adventurous journey across Europe with Ed and Edda on the new interactive 3D dark ride, GRAND PRIX EDventure. Numerous indoor attractions, such as the new interactive 3D dark ride ‘GRAND PRIX EDventure’ and the flying theatre ‘Voletarium’, offer the perfect opportunity to warm up.


The atmospheric Winterland themed area has been newly created especially for the anniversary year: one of the highlights is the winter circus revue 'Monte Carlo Circus Festival meets Europa-Park'. Before the new Monaco themed area

is created for 2026, guests can already look forward to a very special collaboration: award-winning artists from Monaco, spectacular acrobatics and rousing live music in the even larger circus tent promise an unforgettable experience. Next door, the ‘Ice Sculpture Dome – Time Travel to 1975’ features an impressive exhibition of ice sculptures depicting attractions from the opening year of Germany's largest theme park. The ‘Winter World of Wonder’ offers young visitors plenty of opportunities to play and let off steam in the warmth, while outside a lovingly designed children's carousel turns its rounds. In the ‘Winterland-Bar’, delicious winter delicacies await alongside impressive exhibits.


Following the summer release of “GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE” in cinemas, the motto for the winter season at the Magic Cinema 4D at Europa-Park is: fasten your seatbelts and get ready for the thrill ride! In the new 4D short film GRAND PRIX 4D, Edda's biggest dream comes true. She becomes a racing driver and, together with her idol Ed, experiences a thrilling adventure full of speed, courage and friendship. Vibrating seats, gusts of wind, spectacular sound effects and many more surprises ensure that young and old alike feel like they are sitting in the cockpit themselves.


Exciting winter highlights await children in particular at Germany's largest theme park: at the ‘Alpine Children's Ski School’ in the Austrian themed area, they can try their hand at skiing for the first time with the support of trained ski instructors, or race down the hill on snow tubes. In the Scandinavian themed area, Europa-Park, in cooperation with the German Ski Association and the Thoma Ski School, offers ‘Skitty World Nordic’, a cross-country skiing world for children and teenagers. Guests can also skate on the large ice rink next to ‘Fjord Rafting’. Grownups can enjoy a warming drink in the ‘Ice Bar’ in the Spanish themed area. The 'Post Office Heaven's Gate' in England is lovingly decorated and takes children from the nativity scene to the Christmas gift factory. There, Santa Claus is waiting with a little surprise for the youngest visitors and is ready to take their wishes. On 20 December, the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck will stop at Europa-Park with lots of special activities.


International artists also contribute to the Christmas atmosphere in a variety of shows, transporting visitors into a magical world with top-class entertainment. In the spectacular ice show ‘Surpr'Ice presents a Christmas Dream’, international figure skaters enchant guests with their wonderful grace and acrobatics. In the new show ‘Firework of Memories’, the wonderful winter world comes to life on the ‘Europa Lake’ in the Austrian themed area with sparkling water fountains and spectacular fireworks. Every day from 5pm, the ‘Miraculeaux – Mapping Show’ presents a fantastic display of light and colour on the façade of the ‘Eurosat – CanCan Coaster’, to be seen every half hour.


Wintery delights

At the extensive Christmas market around the Europa Fountain and in the historic Balthasar Castle Park, no culinary wish will be left unfulfilled. Visitors can stroll around at their leisure and sample all kinds of delicacies. At the same time, extraordinary flower installations invite guests to marvel.

Traditional craftsmanship transports visitors to the ancient Christmas market in ‘Ireland – Children’s World’ back to times gone by. Delicious specialities are not only available at the Christmas market, but also at numerous stalls and in the cosy restaurants and cafés in Europa-Park.

In addition to hot mulled wine and punch, guests can enjoy winter crêpe variations, freshly baked Baumstriezel, or hearty venison goulash. During the cold season, the pavilion in the French themed area is transformed into a warm bakery where visitors can decorate gingerbread hearts themselves in a cosy atmosphere under the loving guidance of Kambly confectioners. In addition, the cosy ‘ERDINGER Hütt'n’ returns to the Portugal themed area, where visitors are treated to hearty delicacies. On selected evenings, the kitchen team also invites guests to enjoy live music and a 3-course menu.


Mystical water fun

At Rulantica water world, visitors can escape the dreary winter days and enjoy unforgettable water fun. Numerous slides, a huge wave pool and an exciting water playground ensure endless enjoyment. On cold winter days, Europe's largest speed slide, ‘Vikingløp’, entices visitors to take part in an exciting sliding competition. With spraying geysers, a mystical grotto and surrounded by volcanic rock, the new ‘Svømmepøl’ invites visitors to enjoy a bathing experience in a rugged Nordic landscape all year round. For those seeking relaxation, a stay in the exclusive ‘Hyggedal’ sauna and wellness area is ideal.


Experiences for all senses and unique overnight stays

Eatrenalin offers the most exciting gastronomic concept in the world. In a production lasting over two hours and spanning various worlds of indulgence, every detail is perfectly coordinated to send the senses on a unique journey. The result is a multi-sensory fine dining experience of the highest standard, tempting guests with a new menu composition during the cold season.


From 21 November 2025, the 25th anniversary of the Europa-Park Dinner-Show will delight guests with the theme ‘Welcome to Illusion’. The unique combination of artistic mastery, live music, magic and comedy will ensure unforgettable moments until 28 February 2026. The exquisite 4-course menu by 2* Michelin chef Peter Hagen-Wiest will also treat guests to culinary delights.


After exciting hours full of unforgettable moments, the park's six winter-themed hotels and the rustic Silver Lake City offer the ideal opportunity to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Visitors can enjoy wonderful hours in the lovingly themed worlds of the 4* (superior) hotels. The spacious wellness and spa areas promise pure relaxation for body and soul. Western fans can dream of their adventures at the Europa-Park Resort in heated Western houses, log cabins or covered wagons in Silver Lake City.
