Europa-Park announces three new family attractions

October 8, 2026

Europa-Park is synonymous with shared experiences that bring generations together and delights them all. Germany’s largest theme park has now announced its first new additions for 2027. Three new family attractions are set to be built.

A breath of fresh air in Portugal
The Wild Swing XL is coming to the Portuguese themed area. Standing at over 14 metres tall, it will give visitors of all ages the chance to experience a blend of thrills and fun right in the middle of the Portuguese lake. The giant swing draws inspiration from the laid-back atmosphere of the Portuguese coast and the country’s creative and inventive spirit.

Soaring high in Iceland
Another new attraction for all the family that is set to open in 2027 will be located between WODAN – Timburcoaster and blue fire Megacoaster. Both young and old will be able to steer the new tower attraction themselves while enjoying panoramic views over the Icelandic themed area. The ride will allow visitors to enjoy completely new perspectives from high above the hustle and bustle of the harbour.

Journey through Italy
The much-loved gondola ride in the Italian themed area has been delighting Europa-Park’s youngest visitors for over 40 years. In 2027, Enzo’s Piccolo Mondo will be returning in all its glory, allowing the whole family to discover Italy: From impressive art and classical theatre to the sounds of Italian music.

Further information will follow at a later date.
