Europa-Park named the world’s best theme park for the tenth time
On 6 September 2025, Europa-Park received the industry’s highest accolade, the ‘Golden Ticket Award’ for ‘Best Theme Park Worldwide’ for the tenth time. In its anniversary year, the family-owned company from Baden in Germany once again beat renowned competitors such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.

Voltron Nevera awarded the renowned TEA Thea Award
Since April 2024, Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac, the newest, innovative rollercoaster has been fascinating visitors at Europa-Park. The multi-launch coaster in the Croatian themed area not only impresses visitors, but also the entire theme park industry: At the end of 2024, the coaster novelty was awarded the coveted TEA Thea Award by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) for outstanding achievements in the Attractions category. The prestigious award is one of the highest accolades in the amusements industry and was, on this occasion, given to the Mack family at the Thea Award Gala in Los Angeles.

Roland Mack and Michael Mack accorded with the highest honours
On 28. January 2025 at the Élysée Palace, French President Emmanuel Macron named Europa-Park founder Roland Mack ‘Officer de la Légion d’Honneur’ and Michael Mack, Managing Partner of Europa-Park and CEO of MACK One, ‘Knight de la Légion d’Honneur’. Only very few Germans have achieved this honour as yet. The Legion of Honour is the highest French honour.

Europa-Park once again honoured as ‘Best Theme Park Worldwide’/ Voltron Nevera is the best new rollercoaster in the world
Not one, not two, but three awards for Europa-Park: On 7. September 2024, Europa-Park was honoured for the ninth time as ‘Best Theme Park Worldwide’ with the industry's highest accolade, the Golden Ticket Award. After 2014 to 2022, Germany's largest theme park once again beat renowned theme parks such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. In addition, the rollercoaster innovation ‘Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac’ from MACK Rides won the ‘Best New Rollercoaster in the World’ category. The jury further presented the ‘Turnstile Award’ (Publisher's Pick) for the reconstruction of the Austrian themed area with ‘Alpenexpress Enzian’ and ‘Tirol Log Flume’, which was completed within one year.

International highest industry award for Eatrenalin
From the depths of the ocean through fascinating worlds and into outer space: the unique culinary event concept Eatrenalin has delighted guests seeking an extraordinary fine dining experience since November 2022. The world-first restaurant has now been honoured by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) with the coveted TEA Thea Award for the category of 'Experiential Dining Attraction'. The prestigious award is one of the highest honours in the entertainment industry, presented at a glamorous gala in Los Angeles, Hollywood.

International highest industry award for Lifetime Achievement by Roland Mack
Roland Mack, founder of Europa-Park, Germany’s largest theme park, is considered one of the most innovative and successful pioneers and thought leaders in the international entertainment industry. The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) presented the coveted Thea Award to Roland Mack. At the gala event at the Disney Hotel in Los Angeles, which hosted more than a thousand international guests, the successful entrepreneur from Baden was the first theme park owner to receive the ‘Buzz Price Award’ for his life's work, namely his outstanding entrepreneurial achievements and great commitment to the industry. The award is named after Harrison Alan ‘Buzz’ Price (1921-2010), one of the closest confidants of the legendary Walt Disney. Since 1994, the Thea Awards have been held to recognise individuals and companies for excellence in the entertainment industry.

International Industry Oscar for Lifetime Achievement for Roland Mack
The founder of Europa-Park, Roland Mack, is considered one of the most innovative and successful masterminds and pioneers in the international entertainment industry. As part of the IAAPA Expo, the world's largest trade fair for the leisure industry, the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) in Orlando presented the coveted ‘TEA Thea Award’ to Roland Mack. The successful entrepreneur from Baden received the ‘Buzz Price Award’ for his life's work, his outstanding entrepreneurial achievements and his great commitment to the industry. The Thea Awards have been presented since 1994 and recognise individuals and companies for excellence within the entertainment and leisure industry.

Europa-Park and Rulantica are among the best in Europe
Europa-Park and Rulantica received several awards at the IAAPA Expo Europe in London, the largest and most important trade fair for the leisure industry on the continent. The British trade magazine ‘Park World’ chose Germany's largest theme park as ‘Best Large Park’ at the ‘Park World Excellence Awards’. The expert jury from the trade magazine awards the best operators, suppliers, manufacturers and entertainment specialists from all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Europa-Park has been awarded Best Theme Park Worldwide again
On 10th September 2022, Europa-Park was awarded the coveted highest industry award ‘Golden Ticket Award’ as the ‘Best Theme Park Worldwide’ for the eighth time in a row. Germany’s largest theme park was able to once again defend its title against industry heavy weights such as Walt Disney World, Merlin Entertainments and Universal Studios. The prize, which is awarded by the international trade publication ‘Amusement Today’, was handed over in the Zaragoza Theatre of the American theme park ‘Six Flags Fiesta Texas’ in San Antonio, Texas.
