Ammolite – House of Light offers a fresh design concept alongside time-honoured culinary expertise
The restaurant Ammolite – House of Light, led by two-star chef Peter Hagen-Wiest, is embarking on a new chapter. Following extensive refurbishment, the fine-dining restaurant officially reopened on 17 March. Since 2012, the head chef has delighted diners with his exquisite cuisine, earning two Michelin stars from the MICHELIN Guide for the eleventh consecutive year. Under the new name Ammolite – House of Light and situated in the lighthouse of the 4* superior Bell Rock hotel at Europa-Park, the restaurant now combines a brand-new, elegant design with the clarity, precision and consistency for which its cuisine has long been renowned. Gourmets can continue to enjoy to Peter Hagen-Wiest’s unmistakable culinary signature, set against a unique ambience that blurs the boundaries between space and time.

The Winter Season to celebrate the Anniversary Year
From 29 November 2025 to 18 January 2026 (except 24/25 December), Germany’s largest theme park will once again be transformed into a magical winter wonderland, with thick snowflakes and the delicious scent of Christmas cookies filling the air. The park will be decorated with 3,500 snow-covered fir trees from the region, glittering Christmas baubles, cosy campfires and winter decorations adorning the paths of the 17 European-themed areas to enchant visitors. Christmas shows promise impressive and atmospheric entertainment for young and old alike. The new Winterland themed area adds further highlights to the sparkling celebrations in this anniversary season.

Pure relaxation at the Europa-Park Hotels
The first three months of the new year at Germany’s largest continuous hotel resort are all about well-being and enjoyment. From 19 January to 17 March 2026, Europa-Park’s own 4* superior hotels will be treating their guests to a range of exclusive offers. The Rulantica water world will also be offering plenty of highlights to kick off the year. In Europa-Park, visitors travel through 15 European themed areas in just one day, experiencing traditional architecture and cuisine. At over 100 attractions, holidaymakers of all ages can feel the wind on their faces and simply recharge their batteries. In the 2022 season, there are plenty of new highlights to discover at Germany's largest theme park, especially in the Austrian themed area. In Rust, it’s also possible to get out of the southern Baden sun and into a Nordic themed world. Located in the immediate vicinity of Europa-Park, the whole family can look forward to swimming and sliding fun at the Rulantica water world.
