There is more to the Europa-Park Resort than just fun. State-of-the-art technology, craftsmanship, stunning natural beauty and people from over 100 different nations work together to make the impossible possible every day. Guests experience magic, but behind it all lies a unique cosmos of creativity, technology and passion. The Mack family of entrepreneurs supports all of this.
The adventures that visitors enjoy every day at the Europa-Park Resort are the result of precise processes, reliable specialists and forward-thinking planning. Behind the scenes, an impressive variety of people, professions and departments work tirelessly to ensure everything runs smoothly, often behind the scenes but always playing a crucial role. Over 5,250 employees in more than 350 different roles ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Magic doesn't just happen by chance; it often begins with a plan, is supported by experience, and is completed with care. Whether they are visions from MACK Rides, MACK Media or VR Coaster, they only become a reality through collaboration with the various operational and administrative teams within the MACK Group. As well as central units such as marketing, controlling, HR and IT, it is the operational teams from logistics, service, gastronomy, housekeeping, events and technology that are particularly important in making the experience possible.
The result of imagination and responsibility, creativity and structure touches guests. The MACK Group doesn't just think about experiences – it embodies them. In every department and in every action, every single day. What looks and feels like a leisure paradise functions like a finely tuned ecosystem. This is designed, maintained and supported by people dedicated to contributing to the greater whole.
The magic that our guests experience every day is created through the unique interaction of thousands of people from a wide variety of industries, departments and trades.

Craftsmanship & technology
Every action counts
From the first light of dawn to the final evening show! Every ride, lighting effect and themed room is the result of finely tuned technology and precise craftsmanship. The resort's technical infrastructure is complex yet well thought out. Electronics engineers, carpenters, painters, plumbers, advertising technicians and many more ensure that everything runs smoothly and looks its best.
The craft industry is not a supplier, but a co-creator – flexible, imaginative and indispensable. Backdrops, props and special structures are created in the workshops by long-standing employees with in-depth experience, who plan, build and supervise them. Rather than an agency network, there is a team of craftsmen with an eye for detail behind this. Over 8,000 indirect employees from more than 500 companies and service providers in southern Baden and Alsace support the teams on site.

A positive feeling
Before and after visiting our attractions
Our guests are in the best of hands, whether it's with the lifeguards at Rulantica or the staff at Europa-Park's attractions. All of our attractions, at both Europa-Park and Rulantica, undergo an annual inspection by the TÜV, in addition to daily internal checks before the park opens.
With over 100 million rides completed in the theme park every year, every second counts when processing passengers at the station, setting Europa-Park employees apart from the rest of the industry. In 2003, Europa-Park became the first theme park worldwide to receive the TÜV safety certificate.

Service, cleanliness and friendliness
A sense of trust
When you enter an attraction, you do so with a sense of anticipation and trust. The fact that these feelings remain intact is thanks to the efforts of people who are often overlooked: the operators, lifeguards, cleaners, security personnel, on-site fire brigade and medical services. Together, they create an environment that is clean and, above all, safe.
Employees are on hand everywhere, whether you need assistance in the queue, over the phone, in the water, at the on-site information points or in your hotel room.

MACK Solutions
Where visions take shape
Sketches lie in a room next to a cardboard model while a 3D rendering rotates on the screen. This is how new attractions, themed areas, hotels and restaurants begin at MACK Solutions. The internal think tank visualises and plans what will later become a reality. The process encompasses not only design, but also storytelling, dramaturgy and functional design.
MACK Solutions works closely with MACK Rides, MACK One and MACK Animation to achieve this. The result is experiential spaces that are thought out down to the smallest detail.

Hotel Industry
More than just a bed
Six hotels and Silver Lake City transform a visit to the park into a meaningful break. With over 5,800 beds, ranging from family rooms to suites, the Europa-Park Resort is one of Europe's leading destinations.
Behind every freshly made bed and every friendly check-in is a team that works around the clock. Their work is the foundation for more than just a memorable overnight stay.

Shopping
Experiences to take home with you
From lovingly illustrated children's books and Ed & Edda soft toys to hand-packed gifts and exclusive collections featuring brands such as Leonardo, Coca-Cola and Camp David, the Europa-Park Resort's 80‑plus shops sell over 10 million items every year. The organisation behind this is demanding. The purchasing, merchandise planning, logistics and personnel planning ensure replenishment, quality and presentation.
Around 500 employees with a keen sense of style and customer needs offer advice at the point of sale. The day often ends here with a small gift and a lasting memory. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, around 20 specialists are responsible for purchasing, logistics and management.

Shows & Events
Intentional effortlessness
What appears effortless on stage or during walking acts around the resort is the result of meticulous planning. A well-coordinated team of performers, directors, technicians, choreographers and event professionals is behind 23 hours of daily show programming. In addition, over 1,000 events are held at the Europa-Park Resort each year, ranging from gala dinners and weddings to live concerts.
Every event, whether religious, culinary or conceptual, is created through close collaboration between different sectors. One notable feature of the MACK Group's event portfolio is that the Europa-Park church has already hosted over 1,000 weddings and christenings. These are not standard event packages, but unique experiences with a personal touch.

Gastronomy
Taste knows many languages
The Europa‑Park Resort's culinary backbone is formed by around 90 restaurants, cafés and snack bars. Over 1,400 people work in the kitchen and across the service, planning and design departments. Together, they serve more than 1.6 million hot drinks and almost 300,000 crêpes each year.
From fish sandwiches to Michelin-starred cuisine, the spectrum ranges from street food and family meals to fine dining. Whether regional classics, international cuisine or award-winning menus at Ammolite – The Lighthouse Restaurant – here, experience meets innovation. The in-house test kitchen is constantly developing new recipes, often using ingredients from the region.
Many of our gastronomic concepts have received awards from expert juries, including two Michelin stars for ‘Ammolite – The Lighthouse Restaurant’.

Nature
Attracting attention 535,000 times a year
A picture-perfect park does not emerge overnight. It is the result of forward-thinking planning and daily maintenance. At the Europa‑Park Resort, more than half a million flowers bloom each year, alongside thousands of trees and carefully cultivated potted plants, including Mediterranean varieties that are kept in climate-controlled greenhouses over winter. Many of the trees, of which there are more than 7,500, are over 150 years old.
Throughout the year, the Europa‑Park Resort is adorned with colourful spring and summer planting. During the Halloween season, 180,000 pumpkins, 6,000 corn stalks, and 5,000 chrysanthemums are artfully arranged. In winter, countless floral arrangements, 3,000 Christmas trees, and enchanting lights come together to create a festive atmosphere. This is all thanks to a team of over 70 gardeners, florists and technicians who understand and appreciate nature.

Logistics
The foundation for smooth operations
An impressive amount of goods are moved around behind the scenes at the resort every day, including pallets, boxes, fresh produce and special deliveries. Up to 80 deliveries arrive via 12 different routes, supplying the countless shops, restaurants and hotels.
From pizza dough to burgers and beverage crates, everything runs through a logistics system that works because people understand it. It is precise, reliable and indispensable.

Digitalisation
Digital solutions for a seamless experience
The MACK Group is committed to driving forward digitalisation, with the ultimate goal of simplifying, personalising and enhancing the guest experience. With VirtualLine, waiting becomes an experience in itself, as guests can make use of their time however they wish while they wait in a virtual queue. Self-order terminals in the restaurants allow guests to place their orders in a relaxed manner and in their preferred language.
Digital solutions also make life easier for guests in the hotels, where the room card is available directly on smartphones. With the Europa‑Park & Rulantica App, visitors can also keep track of waiting times, show times and the shortest route to the next attraction, as well as staying up to date with current offers – for a fully connected experience.

Education & Integration
Shaping the future – together & diversely
With a workforce of over 5,250 people, the Europa-Park Resort is one of the largest employers in southern Baden. People from over 100 different countries work here every day, with 25% of employees coming from France. In Rulantica, this figure is even higher, at over 35%.
With around 350 job profiles ranging from lifeguards and CNC lathe operators to bartenders and artists, diversity and stability are ensured. 33 apprenticeship professions and 12 dual study programmes open up a wide range of entry-level opportunities with a retention rate of almost 96%.
The MACK Group is committed to investing in training, qualifications and integration. Programmes such as the MACK Academy, Welcome Center 75 and the FeelGood initiative provide guidance, promote health and support the transition to a shared working environment. Where so many talents come together, the future grows. Training courses, onboarding, language training and individual development programmes form part of everyday working life and are supported by a corporate culture that focuses on sustainable integration and long‑term prospects.
Experiences are created together
What makes guests smile starts with people who are committed to their work, day after day. They are often unseen, but never unimportant. It is these individuals, with their expertise, passion and dedication, who ensure that the Europa-Park Resort inspires visitors every single day.
