Halloween at the Europa-Park Resort
Germany’s largest theme park is celebrating the spookiest time of the year again: from 27 September to 2 November 2025, all kinds of witches and ghosts will immerse visitors in a unique experience. Europa-Park is celebrating Germany’s biggest Halloween event. Visitors are transported into a world of horror and magic with extraordinary decorations, autumnal culinary delights and breathtaking shows. Guests can also experience both parts of Europa-Park’s eerily beautiful SPOOK ME! musical. After dark, the most fearless visitors can delight in the multi-award-winning horror spectacle Traumatica – Festival of Fear. The Rulantica water world also shows its spooky side, offering the perfect opportunity to escape even the gloomiest of autumn days. After hours of excitement, guests can relax at the Europa-Park Hotel Resort.

Europa-Park hosts IAAPA Honors for the first time
For the first time, the annual meeting of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) took place outside North America. Following last year's event in Las Vegas, Europa-Park had the honour of hosting this year's industry summit for the first time. From 28 to 30 April 2025, experts from the global leisure industry gathered at Europa-Park. The three-day programme offered exclusive insights into park operations, exciting specialist presentations and first-class entertainment. The IAAPA Brass Ring Awards were also presented during the event. In its anniversary year, Germany's largest theme park not only impressed as the host of the IAAPA Honors 2025, but also received three prestigious IAAPA Brass Ring Awards. Europa-Park has long-standing close ties with IAAPA. In 2011, Roland Mack, owner of Europa-Park, was the first German to be elected President of the association.

Just in time for the start of the season, the interactive 3D dark ride GRAND PRIX EDventure brings exciting gameplay fun to a new level. In the 50-year anniversary season, Ed & Edda receive the first attraction of their own at Europa-Park, leading riders right into the world of the new animated feature film GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE.

The AUREA Award 2025 at Europa-Park
Between 22. and 24. January 2025, the Europa-Park Resort again becomes the showcase for pioneering discoveries: Invited by Michael Mack and MACK One, leading entrepreneurs, experts and visionaries from around the world come together for the seventh edition of the AUREA Award. The Award is Europe’s leading recognition of immersive technologies and experiences. In the Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR) and Extended Relity (ER) categories, outstanding innovations are honoured. Kathleen Cohen, founder of The Collaboratorium, again takes on the leadership of the jury. She is to be supported by Thomas Wagner (Co-Founder and CEO of VR Coaster), Emily Olman (CEO of Hopscotch Interactive), Frank Govaere (Animation Director, Producer and VFX-Superior at UFA), Simon Alexanderson (CTO of Motorica AI) and Dirk Freytag (President of the German Association for the Digital Economy).

‘Traumatica – Festival of Fear’ with 7 horror attractions
Seven horror attractions and over 150 terrifying actors and artists – ‘Traumatica - Festival of Fear’ will once again bring the nightmares to life with monsters and dark figures lurking from 25th September to 9th November 2024. Only the bravest will stand a chance among the clowns, witches and other grisly creatures. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where evil has taken over once again, many a creature awaits the daring visitors who enter the festival. But a lot is also happening behind the curtains! The horror event at Europa-Park, which has won multiple international awards, is sure to make your blood run cold.

Multi Launch Coaster ‘Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac’ at Europa-Park
A brand new, action-packed rollercoaster awaits all visitors from 26 April to the new Croatian themed area of Europa-Park with ‘Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac’. The innovative multi launch coaster from MACK Rides offers an incomparable combination of thrill, atmosphere and technology and sets new standards: Europa-Park's 14th rollercoaster features four periods of catapult-like acceleration up to 90 kilometres per hour, one of which backwards. With seven overhead elements, 2.2 seconds of continued weightlessness and the world's steepest launch of 105 degrees, the new rollercoaster not only sets new records, but also offers an intense and incomparable ride experience that is unique in the world.

Relocation and relaunch of the brand: Re-opening of the "TALENT ACADEMY Europa-Park"
After nine years of existence, the TALENT ACADEMY held an opening ceremony for its new building. In attendance at the event were, among others, the Contortionist Dancer Marina Mazepa, known from "America Got's Talent", the internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, and recording artist Jamal Moore and various well-known artists from Germany. The reopening is another milestone in the story of the successful institution, which combines the disciplines of dance, acrobatics, music, art & mindset under one roof. The expansion means that over 350 members and new participants will be able develop and express their creativity in an area of over 2,000 m².
