Rulantica: The Nordic water world

The Rulantica water world is a central component of the MACK Group's strategy to establish the Europa-Park Resort as a year-round destination with water attractions that perfectly combine adventure and relaxation. Michael Mack, Managing Partner of Europa-Park, has implemented a vision that combines adventure, relaxation and immersive story worlds.

Since opening in 2019, Rulantica has established itself as one of Europe's leading water worlds. Both thrilling and leisurely water attractions, lovingly themed, relaxing retreats and the Hyggedal sauna and wellness area offer adventure and relaxation for all ages.

Rulantica offers a wide range of attractions for all ages. The world's only water carousel, Tønnevirvel, developed by MACK Rides, combines round boats with interactive elements for a thrilling experience. The VR water attraction Snorri Snorkling VR, developed by VR Coaster, immerses guests in a virtual underwater world.

Vikingløp, Europe's largest speed slide, offers visitors a thrilling race down eight parallel mat slides. Other highlights include the half-pipe slide Vinter Rytt and the lazy river Snorri's Saga, offering additional variety.

In addition to the action-packed attractions, Rulantica also offers plenty of retreats for relaxation. Exclusive Komfort Offers allow for individual relaxation in the midst of the water world. Whether it's Komfort Hyddas with its own service, an entire luxury suite ('Svit'), your own yacht or cosy sofas in a quiet location, Rulantica has something for everyone. Hyggedal is a Scandinavian-inspired wellness oasis with panoramic views of the water world, a spacious wellness area, saunas and a steam bath for pure relaxation.

A wide range of culinary delights ensure moments of indulgence - from the Mediterranean self-service restaurant Lumålunda to the swim-up bar Tempel Krog and the Scandinavian food court Strand Kök. A direct link to the 4* superior hotel 'Krønasår' provides a seamless resort experience with exclusive access via a private hotel bridge.

With an initial investment of €180 million, Rulantica is the largest single investment in the history of the MACK Group. The water world is a central component of the strategy to develop the Europa-Park Resort into a year-round holiday destination, regardless of the weather. Rulantica combines innovation, family friendliness and environmental awareness. Even during the construction phase, the focus was on sustainable concepts. The protection of the surrounding flora and fauna also played a central role: A large green area serves as a retreat for animals and plants, and the water world offers a harmonious interplay between nature and leisure activities.
