Lovingly staged entertainment for children

A grandmother who hatches dinosaurs in her garden, feeds them cake and knits for them - the world of Madame Freudenreich has a unique charm. What began as a child-friendly redesign of the former Universum der Energie attraction at Europa-Park has become one of MACK Magic's most endearing story worlds.

The idea for the Madame Freudenreich Curiosités attraction was born in 2017, when Michael Mack asked Alsatian author and comedy expert Huguette Dreikaus what typical Alsatian elements she could imagine for the new attraction.

Her recipe: Gugelhupf, animals and a warm-hearted grandmother. The dinosaur theme of the previous attraction was combined with a new story. Madame Freudenreich is a friendly Alsatian who looks after her secret inhabitants, a story that appeals to all generations.

It is a pleasure to introduce the world of Madame Freudenreich and her dinosaurs to a wide audience in a TV series of its own.

From theme park ride to TV series

From the beginning, the story of Madame Freudenreich was developed as an expandable story world - one of MACK Magic's strengths. In addition to the lovingly designed attraction in Europa-Park's French themed area, many other products have been created to keep the adventure of Madame Freudenreich and her dinosaurs alive beyond the park visit.

DINO MATES - Holidays with Madame Freudenreich: The 26-episode animated series will be broadcast exclusively on KiKa from autumn 2025 and distributed worldwide by Studio 100.

Madame Freudenreich Curiosités (Europa-Park): The attraction in the French themed area delights families with charming storytelling.

Picture books, books and audio stories: The adventures of Sophie and Leo with Madame Freudenreich are available in book and audio format.

Madame Freudenreich combines cross-generational nostalgia with modern storytelling and shows how an attraction can inspire people beyond the borders of Europa-Park as a brand world in the form of books and TV series.
