Ed & Edda conquer the international cinema screens for the first time. The first 90-minute film adventure with the popular mascots will be released in summer 2025 to mark the 50th anniversary of Europa-Park.
In GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE, the mouse Edda, daughter of the fairground owner Erwin, wants to be a racing driver. When the 50th race of the GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE starts, she seizes the unique opportunity to meet her idol, the racing driver Ed, and at the same time to save her father's struggling business, but she has to get into the driver's seat herself…
The film was produced by Michael Mack and MACK Magic in co-operation with Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany and other international partners.
The cinema project will be complemented by the new interactive 3D dark ride GRAND PRIX EDventure, which brings the adventure to life at Europa-Park. In addition, the action-packed video game Ed & Edda: GRAND PRIX - Racing Champions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam will bring the adventure directly to fans' homes.

GRAND PRIX EDventure (Europa-Park): The innovative 3D Gameplay Theatre in the Luxembourg themed area takes visitors interactively into the world of the film.
Ed & Edda: GRAND PRIX - Racing Champions: The new video game brings the thrilling racing experience to consoles and PC.
Film merchandise and books: Official merchandise, books, collectible toy figurines, a Tonie figurine and an audio book based on the story will be released to coincide with the film's release.

Best season in history: more than six million visitors come to Europa-Park for the first time in 2022
In the 2022 season, for the first time in its almost-50-year history, Germany's largest theme park exceeded six million visitors, representing a significant expansion of its market leadership. Europa-Park owner Roland Mack says, “We see this record as a huge vote of confidence from our visitors, and one that comes in a difficult year in which war, supply problems, inflation and the energy crisis have been making things difficult for all of us. People are looking for leisure and balance, and the Europa-Park Resort, alongside the Rulantica water world, offers just that, which is an attractive travel destination in its own right. The beds of the hotel resort, which number approximately 5,800 hotel beds, were also often fully booked in 2022. In November, the internationally acclaimed new restaurant of the future ‘Eatrenalin’ was opened. A total of over 80 million Euros have been invested within three years.”
