Adventure Club of Europe

A story full of mystery, discovery and adventure

The Adventure Club of Europe (ACE) is much more than a fictional organisation - it is the story that connects numerous attractions and story worlds at the Europa-Park Resort. As a secret society that has been dedicated to the exploration of mysterious places and artefacts for centuries, ACE builds a bridge between Europa-Park's themed worlds and Rulantica water world.

From Voletarium to Pirates in Batavia and Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac, the stories of ACE run through numerous attractions and tell of visionary pioneers, courageous explorers and the secrets of the world. But ACE's immersive storytelling extends far beyond the park: With novels, comics, video series and interactive online experiences, the club can be experienced by fans both inside and outside the park.

At first people will deny what is new, then they will speak ill of it, and finally they will act as if they have always known it. Let us be the ones to bring in what is new!

From an idea to an interactive story world

ACE was launched in 2017 by Michael Mack, Managing Partner of Europa-Park, to take the theme park resort's transmedia storytelling to a new level. The aim was to create a meta-level of narrative that connects the different themed worlds and offers guests a deeper, more immersive experience.

The club's origins lie in a fictional discovery: In 1716, the Dutch pirate Bartholomeus van Robbemond founded the Adventure Club of Europe after realising, while searching for the magical artefact 'Fire Tiger', that such powers must be kept in safe hands. Since then, the club has been dedicated to the exploration of unknown worlds and the protection of mystical artefacts.

The stories and members of ACE can be found in numerous attractions:

Pirates in Batavia - the story of ACE's founding has been brought to life in this iconic themed ride: The famous journey of the pirate and adventurer Bartholomeus van Robbemond in search of the Fire Tiger, a legendary magical dagger.

Voletarium - the legendary Eulenstein brothers, members of ACE, are said to have been the first people to make the dream of flying come true. Their groundbreaking research has been explored in the video series 'The First Flight Theory', which provides a fascinating insight into the origins of the club.

Madame Freudenreich Curiosités - the endearing story of the Alsatian grandmother who hatches dinosaur eggs - is also part of the ACE universe.

Rulantica & the themed hotel 'Krønasår' - the water world and the museum hotel 'Krønasår' are also connected to the club: ACE has been exploring the legendary island and its mysterious creatures for decades.

Josefina's Magical Imperial Journey & Magical Valley of Diamonds - Empress Josefina was a passionate adventurer and Honorary President of ACE. At a young age, she discovered the bizarre mountain people, the Yomis and went on to gather adventurers, explorers and scientists at her court.

Castello dei Medici - For more than three centuries, no one dared enter the Medici family's haunted castle, which, according to legend, was under a cruel curse. But then a brave young ACE adventurer sets out to break the curse...

Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac - Europa-Park's newest rollercoaster is based on an ACE story: The rollercoaster station is the (fictional) secret laboratory of the visionary inventor Nikola Tesla in Croatia, where he develops Voltron with the help of ACE. This device for teleportation via cosmic energy heralds the electric age. When real-life entrepreneur Mate Rimac joins the club, reality and fiction merge.

Silver Lake City - Alchemist and gold-digger Theodor Mackaroy and his 'liquid gold'.

Behind the groundbreaking attraction Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac lies the story of the young Nikola Tesla.

Immersive storytelling for a new generation of experiences

The Adventure Club of Europe shows how real historical facts, personalities and events can be combined with fictional content to create a unique guest experience. By linking attractions, books, digital experiences and events, a vibrant, interactive world is created that extends far beyond Europa-Park.
With new stories, additional attractions and a growing fan base, the Adventure Club of Europe remains one of the most exciting and dynamic story worlds at the resort.
