From vision to reality: how MACK Animation creates new worlds

MACK Animation has its roots in the successful partnership with Ambient Entertainment, a German pioneer in the animated film industry. In 2004, Ambient Entertainment released Germany's first fully 3D animated feature film, ‘Back to Gaya’, and went on to produce several other successful feature films that were shown in cinemas around the world.

The partnership with the MACK Group began in 2011 with the 4D film ‘The Secret of Castle Balthasar’ and continued with further successful productions. MACK Media was a co-producer on the feature films ‘Happy Family’ and ‘Happy Family 2’. In 2017, Ambient Entertainment also produced the Flying Theater film for the Europa-Park attraction Voletarium together with MACK Media. The merger with Ambient Entertainment ultimately led to the founding of MACK Animation, in order to make even more targeted use of the potential between film production, attraction design and, above all, the further development of the Europa-Park brands in the media sector.

Today, MACK Animation is a key component within the MACK Group and drives innovation in digital entertainment.
